This work for support of the lower belly but not as any kind of girdle or compression to wear under clothing. It just doesn’t have the ability to shape.If you need support in the lower belly after surgery/c-section, etc., this would be great. I’ve had 2 c-sections and surgery and this would have been a great step down from a full support garment.I was looking for something to support my lower belly and to help compress it under clothing. This doesn’t work for that because while it does support and help flatten the lower belly a bit, it simultaneously creates a muffin top because it’s not a full support garment. It just covers the lower belly.You can see in the picture that the front has a nice wide mesh portion while the back narrows. This creates some of the rolling of the garment and the squeezing of the belly/back. You have to wear it fairly snug to get the support in the lower abdomen.Pros:Provides support for lower bellyVelcro closure is soft, not very scratchyMesh front is comfortableFits well, despite the issues noted aboveCons:Not a full support garment so it creates bulges at the topNarrows at the back so doesn’t cover as muchCan’t wear under all clothing - would be visibleI got the medium and it measures approximately 29.5 from end to end, enough for me to wrap around my lower belly/high hips with the stretch. Note that the velcro is placed at the side, not the back. This actually prevents from any velcro from digging into your back when seated.
