Car Care

Engine Wash:

You will get efficient and thoughtful service from SHINDARY.

I would not recommend cleaning / washing your engine as there is a lot of electrical equipment in the engine bay like Alternator, ECU, TCU, Ignition Coils, Sensors and all harness connectors etc. While most of the equipment is sealed and the connectors have O-Rings on them and are pretty well sealed, we still should not take any chances. Engine does not need to be pretty, it needs to be functional.

Having said that, applying protection and keeping the engine components, specially the rubbers & hoses well protected from the environment is highly recommended. So follow the video below to clean the Engine Bay. I would recommend a milder shampoo like the TonyIn Slick & Gloss for cleaning, then use Koch Chemie MotorPlast for the ultimate engine protection.

Motorplast acts as a preservative for engines, housing parts, rubber hoses and power units on vehicles, giving the treated parts a new look. After cleaning the engine bay, the product is sprayed into the still wet surfaces and then has a water-displacing effect. Motorplast dries completely and forms a permanently elastic protective film. This protective film prevents the dirt from re-binding and thus protects the treated surfaces from corrosion and environmental influences. Due to the very good creeping effect and the permanently elastic protective film, the aggregates are protected against corrosion and environmental influences. Suitable for use on dry and wet surfaces. Temperature resistant up to 250°C. With Daimler approval.

I highly recommend a good pressure washer setup. I have the following setup:

Karcher K2 Universal (110 bar)
MJJC Foam Cannon Pro V2
Stub Gun ( PSI)
10 Meter Flex Hose ( PSI)
180° Lance
Variable Nozzles (1/4")
Karcher to M22 Connector
1/4" Quick Disconnects on all connectors
M22 Swivel Joint on Stub Gun
Filter and Garden Hose with QD

Most important thing in a pressure washer is the flow rate (Gallons per minute or Litres per hour), so pay attention to flow rate when buying a pressure washer, as the max pressure that you need for car washing is 90 bar and most pressure washers are rated way higher than this anyway, but manufacturers just market higher pressure in terms bar or watts as marketing gimmick.

In my opinion Karcher K2 is a good start, it&#;s 110 bar max, and rated output of 90 bar which is more than sufficient, you can go higher models in Karcher lineup that have higher flow rate than K2 but all it would give you is higher flow rates that makes car washing faster (more water means faster cleaning off the soap), but I think K2 is sufficient, what you should invest more, should be in attachments to get the most out of your pressure washer.

Here's the tricky part: Each pressure washer manufacturer have their own proprietary connectors to lock you into buying their own attachments. You can go three routes:

Either use the included attachments that come with K2 like gun, lance, hose etc, and be content with it.

Second route is if you want to use better attachments to get the most out of your washer but want to keep it simple and relatively lower initial cost, then just buy attachments that already are made for Karcher connectors. All you need is a nozzle adapter to use variable nozzles to get the max pressure output from K2, and a MJJC Pro 2 Foam cannon for that snow foam action.

Third route is to go full custom like my setup above, with standardised 1/4" Quick Disconnects and M22 connectors on each attachment that will have higher initial cost but those are universal attachments that can be used on any other pressure washer if you upgraded later or sold it afterwards. It's all up to you.

Full Paint Correction and Protection

For a full paint correction you have to strip off all the previous waxes, get the paint fully cleaned from any contamination, then use compound to remove scratches, then polish to make it smooth again, then apply wax to protect from U and give it glossy shine. Detail procedure below. If you just want to read the regular wash then skip this section to next.

Always clean your wheels, tyres and wheel wells first, then wash the rest of your car. Wash your car with TonyIn Bath & Body which will strip off all previous waxes (but it&#;s not harmful to clear coat / paint).

If you are using a pressure washer, then clean off as much dirt as you can with pressure washer (40 degree white nozzle) with safe distance. Then use 60-100ml of Body & Bath in 1L of water in Foam Cannon. Spray the foam, then use a MicroFibre Wash Mitten (I use MJJC) for contact wash, gently scrubbing from Top of car to Bottom. In between, wash off the dirty mitten and spray some more foam on it.

If you don&#;t have a pressure washer, then use a two bucket system, pour 30ml of Bath & Body per 1L of water in a bucket, keep the second bucket with water only, to wash the dirty mitten.

After soap scrub, wash off all the soap. Now you have to spray Iron Remover to remove any metal dust and contamination in body, before you scrub with clay bar. Spray TonyIn Iron Out, let it sit for a few minutes, then wash it off.

Now spray Clay Bar Lube (if you don&#;t have clay bar Lube then just use the soap water from clean bucket), clay the whole car, this will remove all the dirt from car&#;s paint.

Now wash with water. Dry it off with a microfibre towel. I use MJJC GSM 60x90cm towel for drying.

Or get the TonyIn small microfibre towels.

Now is the time you can use Precision Platelet 1 & Done Compound (only if your car needs it). It&#;s a two in one product and includes compound and polish both in one step. Technically it should be done with an Orbital Polishing Machine but you can use a polishing pad and do it yourself as well. All you need is a LOT of light from different angles, so it can show you each and every scratch that needs to be corrected.

Car has to be washed with Bath & Body shampoo again if you used compound/polish.

Once car is dry, now you have to apply the protection and shine. You can use the hard paste wax Turtle Wax &#;Ceramic+Graphene Paste Wax&#;,

For more Dfsk Transmission Partsinformation, please contact us. We will provide professional answers.

or you can use the liquid wax Turtle Wax &#;Graphene to the Max Wax&#;.

Now apply the wax on one panel at a time, with applicator pad, in a round swirl motion, to cover every part. Once the wax starts to haze (turn whitish) then start to buff it with a micro fibre cloth, more you buff off, more it will shine.

https://click.daraz.pk/e/_CU3SX5

Once your car is waxed with Turtle Wax Graphene, it can last upto 6 months easily if you use TonyIn Slick & Gloss shampoo for each wash (200ml/L).

Do not use harsh shampoos that strip off wax and damage clear coat. You can also use Turtle Wax &#;Flex Wax&#; after each wash to top up your wax and extend your UV protection, shine and hydrophobic slickness to a year easily.

Interior Care

Use SONAX Leather Cleaner and SONAX Leather Conditioner (details below) on all the leather parts of the interior; seats, dash, door, console, steering etc, then only parts left are the black plastic parts on doors, dash and console etc. You can either use the Meguiar's Ultimate Interior Detailer, which is expensive,

https://autohub.pk/products/meguiars-ultimate-interior-detailer

OR just use TonyIn Eliminate in a 10:1 dilution. (DO NOT USE THIS MPC ON ANY LEATHER PARTS).

OR just use little bit of the TonyIn Slick & Gloss Shampoo that you already have, mixed with water, then use it in a spray bottle or applied to a microfibre towel, to clean the plastic parts.

First, clean all the plastic parts then clean the leather parts, so even if any APC/MPC goes on leather parts then it gets cleaned and then conditioned. So clean plastic parts on doors, dash, console and trunk, use either the Interior Detailer or diluted APC/MPC or even a very diluted dish soap (be sure to spray a protectant afterwards, otherwise harsh soaps dry out plastics and turn them whitish), spray then agitate with a brush, then wipe off with a microfibre.

https://www.daraz.pk/products/ess-i-s.html

For all the leather, on seats, doors, dashboard, console and all the rubber seals on doors, trunk and moonroof, use Sonax Leather Foam Cleaner, agitating it with a horsehair brush, then wipe off with a clean microfibre towel (use clean microfibre towel to wipe each time).

https://www.daraz.pk/products/-i-s.html

Once dry, then apply the Leather Conditioner generously on to all the above mentioned leather surfaces.

For the glass windows, use a glass cleaner spray like Glint (spray it on microfibre then clean the glass windows, do not spray on car directly, as it will ruin the wax). Afterwards use RainX coating to protect the glass and make it hydrophobic.

Lastly coat the endless black plastic bumper trim around the car, and the tyres with Turtle Wax Tyre And Bumper Gel.

Turtle Wax

Turtle Wax. Dedicated to the Drive. Turtle Wax was founded by Ben Hirsch, a savvy and creative entrepreneur. Together with his wife Marie, they set out to formulate the world's first liquid car polish, which came to be known as Plastone. Leveraging his chemical background, $500, and a small storefront on Chicago Avenue, the Hirschs mixed the Plastone car polish in their bathtub. Soon, Plastone grew into America's most popular liquid car polish. A master marketer, Hirsch employed some innovative sales techniques. He'd polish half a fender on cars parked outside Wrigley Field, wait for the owner to return and then point out the benefits of Plastone. While on a 's business trip to Beloit, Wisconsin, Ben came across Turtle Creek. He made the connection between a Turtle's protective hard shell and his Plastone Polish. From that day on Plastone was renamed Super Hard Shell®, and the company became Turtle Wax Inc.
