A water fed pole is a specialized piece of equipment used to clean difficult-to-reach windows from the ground. It works by sending purified water up the telescoping pole, then through an adjustable nozzle that disperses a jet of pressurized water, loosening dirt and debris from the glass. The process is known as pure water window cleaning, and is one of the most efficient methods available.

The water fed pole consists of several main components. The main pole is typically made of lightweight aluminum or fiberglass and is adjustable so it can be extended up to 40 feet in some cases. Connected to the tip of the pole is a soft brush attached to a swivel. This swivel is connected to the purified water hose itself, which is the source of the cleaning solution. The nozzle attached to the end of the hose will disperse the pressurized water in a fan shape, making it easier to clean large areas of glass in a single pass.

Pure water window cleaning is becoming increasingly popular for a variety of reasons. For starters, it’s much safer than traditional methods of window cleaning as no harsh chemicals or ladders are needed. It also saves time and money, as the process takes a fraction of the time to complete and the long-term cost of maintenance is reduced. And with purified water, there is no need to use squeegees or cloths, as the water evaporates, leaving behind a streak-free shine.

The water fed pole is also remarkably convenient. No ladders or scaffolding are required, allowing it to be used near obstacles or against buildings where traditional window cleaning techniques are impractical. Additionally, it’s much quieter than traditional methods and consumes relatively little water.

Window cleaning is an essential part of any upkeep program, and the introduction of the water fed pole has made it a breeze. Whether you have a business or home with difficult-to-reach windows, a water fed pole is the ideal way to achieve a spotless shine without the need of pricey ladders or hazardous solutions. The pole provides a safe, easy, and affordable way to keep your windows sparkling.

26FT Reach Telescopic Extension Pole, 5-19FT Multi ...

For years now, my husband has done battle with the wasps that have taken residence in the front of the peak of the eaves of our home. We have a three-story home and they are right there at the very top point of the home.
He builds homes for a living and is comfortable using tall ladders and knows how to use them safely.
So, when it's time to knock down a wasp nest when we see it being built, he gets out his ladder.
"I know how to use a ladder, I use them all day at work," He grumbles at me when I admonish him to be careful.
But, when he's using ladders at work and home, he's not usually doing battle with dozens of little flying ninjas with swords defending their home and queen.
A few days ago, we had a record-breaking warm day here in the Frozen Tundra. He decided to get some spring projects done a bit early.
He grabbed his ladder and announced he was going to get those nests down, while the bees were "sleeping."
Bees weren't sleeping.
As soon as his ladder was rested against the house and the safety hooks set on the roof, a bee started buzzing around it.
He stared at it, cussing.
I suggested he give this pole a test drive.
He got it out, with a healthy amount of skepticism that it would be anything but a floppy pole. Once he took the components out, he commented that they had some weight to them.
As he screwed each component onto the pole, adding length as he went, he said it felt pretty durable.
Once it was fully assembled, he played around with the telescoping feature. It was very similar to a couple of my camera tri-pods - the snap lock brackets that allow the poles to slip freely when unlocked and stays in position when locked. It's a nice system of the locking bracket is heavy-duty plastic and had strong tension when you want to lock. It can't just flop open at a brush of your finger, which this won't.
It was pretty sturdy and didn't flop around when full extended. It had very little play.
Once we attached a broom head to it (just screwed it on) it felt a little wiggly, not gonna lie.
But, it wasn't so bad that it failed to do what we wanted: have a controlled contact with the wasp nest. He said it didn't feel like the broom head was too top-heavy for the pole. He felt he could control it.
Once he got a feel for the dynamic of the pole with the broom head on it, he was able to knock the nest down in two swipes.
As soon as he saw it coming down, he was able to run into the house to avoid being stung. Previously, when he was on a ladder, he would knock it down but he would be right up there where it had been and the wasps that had flown out when he started knocking at it, came after him. He always had to climb down the ladder while swiping at angry wasps.
He said being able to see it coming down and get to safety was nice.
So, yeah - this pole survives being dropped suddenly on a concrete driveway. No dents, dings or breaks, lol.
We like the fact the end of it is a universal fitting that allows us to use anything you could screw onto a broom handle, lol.
I can also use it to drop strands of lights on bushes and such that are taller and harder to reach.
And, yesterday, I used it to prod a snake from under our neighbor's back porch. It was reluctant to leave the cozy and safe spot, but the kids were afraid their kitten would become snake food. I'm not sure that was an issue with this particular garden snake, lol, but the kiddos were freaking out and begging me to do something.
It is heavier and more sturdy than a simple pole that you might use around your pool and such. This feels like it will be strong enough to do some of the tasks that have been undone around my yard, for no other reason than I am short and no one feels the tasks are a priority.
I recommend the pole.
