Wireless discussion systems

Wireless discussion systems

Microphone systems completely without cables – the advantages are obvious: Fast and very flexible setup, easy change of seating arrangement or table arrangement, easy mobile use and quick conversion between different premises. Modern wireless discussion systems – as we offer – all work by radio on 2.4 GHz and partly already on 5 GHz. They are of course tap-proof! Usually the microphone units are available in different versions: with and without built-in loudspeaker, optionally with voting function and/or simultaneous function. With the latter, each delegate can connect a headset to the microphone unit and retrieve his desired translation.

For technology providers and installation companies, we would like to point out that PCS will also be happy to provide in-depth support for the installation and integration of these wireless systems into existing systems. Also through our rental department of PCS Professional Conference Systems GmbH, a lot of practical experience has been gained with most of the offered wireless systems. Profit from this advantage!

Beyerdynamic Quinta

[/column]
[column size="1-2″ last="1″]

[/column]

Beyerdynamic has been producing wireless conference systems since 1998 and can thus draw on a wealth of experience in this field. The market penetration with systems of this type is correspondingly large, so that a high degree of compatibility can be guaranteed. Beyerdynamic has repeatedly been able to attract a great deal of attention and praise with its innovative microphone unit designs, including the new Quinta, which is now the fifth generation of wireless systems. The Quinta was awarded a prize at the "red dot design award 2012" and is of course also technically "state of the art".

The Quinta wireless conference system is already the fifth generation of wireless conference technology at Beyerdynamic. The discussion system meets all requirements in terms of operational safety, reliability and transmission security. If interference to radio traffic, e.g. from WLAN or cell phones, occurs during an event, the system automatically and inaudibly switches to a new channel so that the conference is not affected. Wireless transmission allows the system to be set up and taken down quickly, and the microphone units can be flexibly positioned on the table. After the event, the microphone units can be conveniently stored in the wheeled transport case, where they are also automatically recharged. Different configuration options and a wide range of accessories round off the system.

Wireless Access Point DCN-WAP

[column size="2-5″ last="0″]

[/column]
[column size="3-5″ last="1″]

The DCN Wireless Access Point (WAP, wireless access point) connects the Wireless Central Control Unit (WCCU) to the wireless discussion units. For security reasons, the data exchange between the WAPs and the wireless discussion units is digitally protected. The WAP is connected to the WCCU via Bosch's proprietary optical network, which provides digital, optical communications and power over a single cable. With the second optical network port on the WAP, the system network configuration can be expanded from stub cabling to a redundant ring. In this loop-through configuration, the DCN wireless system can be connected to compatible Bosch equipment such as audio expanders, CobraNet interfaces and the INTEGRUS audio transmission system. Secure wireless communication between the WAP and the discussion units takes place on the 2.4 GHz band, which can be used worldwide without a license. The WAP features an award-winning design. It can be mounted unobtrusively on a wall, ceiling or floor stand using the universal mounting bracket.
